The studio is my meditation, my therapy — my way of staying grounded and centered. It's the only place where I completely lose track of time. In a world of immediate gratification, pottery is not that. It demands patience: wedging, throwing, trimming, drying, bisque firing, glazing, final firing. And after all that waiting, opening the kiln is Christmas morning, every single time.
I find beauty in every part of the process: the swirl of marbled clay, the mesmerizing depth of a glaze, the arc and curve of a form taking shape. Every piece is an experiment in translation — taking an idea and working it through my hands until it becomes something real. I'm endlessly inspired by nature and the science behind the craft. I formulate my own glazes, experiment with new techniques, and have even dug and processed clay from my backyard. My mom first put clay in my hands when I was little — and I never really let go. Every piece is an exploration of beauty and utility, abstraction and function.

A basement utility room turned creative sanctuary, where curious dogs weave through canyons of glaze bucket towers, clay boxes, and precarious stacks of bats and drying pots patiently waiting for their turn in the kiln.
Every piece is one-of-a-kind and irreplaceable. The marbled collection layers clay in flowing bands of color, like stone formed over time. The mineral collection pairs speckled clay with flowing glazes — earthy and elemental, like geology in miniature. The crystalline collection is pure alchemy: chemistry and fire conspiring to grow crystal gardens before your eyes. The backyard collection features a beautiful red clay that I dug and processed myself from my own backyard in Fairfax County, Virginia.
